Privacy Notice

Beta draft: this notice is an operational starting point and must be reviewed by a qualified Bangladesh lawyer before collecting real identity documents at scale.

What we collect

Account details, property and tenancy records, marketplace interactions, manual payment claims, maintenance records, consent records and security logs. Identity documents are collected only through the controlled verification workflow.

Why we use it

To operate rental workflows, prevent fraud, maintain audit history, provide support and improve the public beta.

Who can see it

Users see only information allowed by their role and relationship. Landlords and residents do not receive each other’s raw identity documents. Restricted reviewers may access assigned verification cases.

Retention and deletion

Raw identity documents should be deleted after the approved review and appeal period. Operational records may be retained where needed for tenancy history, disputes, accounting or legal obligations.

Security

Rent Management BD uses private storage, database row-level security, server-only secrets, audit records and role-based access. No internet service can promise zero risk.
